Welcome to Aldrich!

Aldrich holds a special place in the hearts of countless children and families.  Our curriculum has prepared preschoolers for kindergarten and beyond for over 67 years.  Our program provides a learning environment based on developmentally appropriate experiences in all areas of growth.  We believe social, physical, emotional, and intellectual development are of equal importance.  Walk through our school, and you will witness our experienced educators helping children discover their true potential.

Each day, children at Aldrich take home something different, whether in their heads, their hands, or their hearts.  We look forward to assisting you in your pursuit of a preschool educational experience for your child.

We are now accepting enrollments for the 2012-2013 school year.

Our Mission & Purpose

Aldrich Memorial Nursery School is a nationally accredited learning program for preschool children.  Our mission is to provide an inclusive, developmentally based program that fosters a child's social, physical, emotional, and intellectual development, focusing on interactive play.

Aldrich provides a learning environment based on developmentally appropriate experiences in all areas of growth. We call this 'child directed learning.' We believe social, physical, emotional, and intellectual development are of equal importance. Children learn through experimentation, manipulation, observation, and social interaction. Teachers plan the curriculum for the needs of both the group and the individual child.
