Welcome to Aldrich!

Aldrich holds a special place in the hearts of countless children and families.  Our curriculum has prepared preschoolers for kindergarten and beyond for over 65 years.  Our program provides a learning environment based on developmentally appropriate experiences in all areas of growth.  We believe social/emotional, physical, cognitive, and language development are equally important.

Although the school has evolved over the decades, the continuity of dedication, professionalism, pride, and care continue to be evident in the classrooms at Aldrich.  Each day, children at Aldrich take home something different, whether in their heads, their hands, or their hearts.  We look forward to providing your child with a nurturing and educational experience at Aldrich.

We are now enrolling children for the 2013-2014 school year.

For more information, please see the Enrollment & Tuition tab on the left.

Our Mission & Purpose

Aldrich Memorial Nursery School is a nationally accredited learning program for preschool children.  Our mission is to provide an inclusive, developmentally based program that equally fosters a child's social/emotional, physical, cognitive, and language development, focusing on interactive play.

Aldrich provides a learning environment based on developmentally appropriate experiences in all areas of growth. We call this 'child directed learning.' Children learn through experimentation, manipulation, observation, and social interaction. Teachers plan the curriculum for the needs of both the group and the individual child.
